2015 National Conference Announcements

To our valuable clients,

Thank you for helping make this year’s eClinicalWorks National Conference a truly magical experience. This sold-out event hosted 4,500 attendees and we kicked off the event with the Keynote and Product Showcase at the iconic Grand Ole Opry. With 120 breakout sessions, and our legendary Music City Celebration Saturday night, the event was another one we’ll never forget.

There are now 45 million people with access to their records through healow. This year, we added 1,000 new customers and 90% of these new transitions were the result of our Make the Switch program, proving that everything at eClinicalWorks is moving full-steam ahead.

During the NC, we showcased all of the exciting developments that we had been working on throughout the previous year. Here are some highlights from this year:

10e

When 10e is released later this year, it will be a game changer for the EHR industry. This technology takes a new approach to EHRs, incorporating population health and patient engagement, delivering a simple solution for a complex ecosystem. Built on HTML5, it runs on every device and every platform.

Patient Engagement Updates

healow IoT: Internet of Things (IoT) integration between home monitoring devices and fitness trackers with patient medical records, giving providers more complete information for taking action at the point of care.

healow mom: A new, free app for expectant mothers.

healow kid: This free app assists parents once the child is born. We are adding facets to healow that focus on the life cycle of the patient.

healowCares: We have created a non-profit unit to address health disparities and provide access to care worldwide using Telemedicine. eClinicalWorks will contribute $10 million over three years. More information will be available in Q1 of 2016.

Patient Portal Enhancements: Adolescent portal, Spanish portal, and publishing letters and forms online.

Interoperability, Growth, and Additional Product Updates

Free Interoperability: eCW announced free interoperability with any hospital system for transition of care. The free interoperability includes query response in real time for patient CCD and an interface to hospital ADT (admit and discharge summary into eClinicalWorks). Interoperability will follow national standards using IHE profiles.

eClinicalMobile on Apple Watch: Integration of eClinicalMobile with AppleWatch® makes access to the EHR even more convenient.

Ambulatory Surgery Centers: We plan to have an ASC product by March 2016. 

Acute Care: A solution for the acute care market will be available by the end of 2016.

International Growth: eClinicalWorks has experienced great success, including outside of the U.S.
